On January 21, 2025, we welcomed AK OÖ President Andreas Stangl, Biz-Up CEO Werner Pamminger and the CEO of Upper Austrian Research GmbH Wilfried Enzenhofer at the Pro²Future headquarters in Linz.
During the delegation’s short visit, the guests were given an overview of the centre’s research results by CEO Gerd Hribernig and the scientific director, Prof. Alois Ferscha.
This was followed by compact demonstrations of completed and ongoing research projects such as CEPS (Cognitive Engineering Process Support) by researcher Cosmina-Cristina Ratiu and Area Manager Ouijdane Guiza, the AI2Human project by researcher Martin Schobesberger from the Institute for Pervasive Computing (JKU), as well as a brief insight into the StreamingAI project (Federated Device AI for Digital Transformation in Industry) supported by the state of Upper Austria, by Prof. Alois Ferscha himself. The visit and the program were led by Center Communications Manager Markus Jäger and UAR Head of Research Communication Petra Mayer-Hejna.
